To provide maximum traction and stability on all roads, All-Wheel Drive is standard on the Charger. But it costs extra on the Polestar 4.

Both the Charger and the Polestar 4 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front and rear seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, rear cross-path warning, driver alert monitors and available around view monitors.

Dodge’s powertrain warranty covers the Charger 1 year and 10,000 miles longer than Polestar covers the 4. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Coverage on the Polestar 4 ends after only 4 years or 50,000 miles.

There are over 76 times as many Dodge dealers as there are Polestar dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Charger’s warranty.

For better traction, the Charger’s optional tires are larger than the largest tires available on the Polestar 4 (F:305/35R20 & R:325/35R20 vs. 265/40R22).

The Charger’s optional tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Polestar 4 Performance Pack’s 40 series tires.

The Charger has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The Polestar 4 doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Charger’s wheelbase is 2.9 inches longer than on the Polestar 4 (121 inches vs. 118.1 inches).

For better handling and stability, the average track (width between the wheels) on the Charger is 1.1 inches wider in the front and .9 inches wider in the rear than the track on the Polestar 4.

The Charger Six Pack offers available computer-generated active noise cancellation to help remove annoying noise and vibration from the passenger compartment, especially at low frequencies. The Polestar 4 doesn’t offer active noise cancellation.

The Charger Two-Door has .4 inches more front legroom, .6 inches more rear legroom and 1.3 inches more rear shoulder room than the Polestar 4.

The Charger Two-Door has a much larger cargo volume than the Polestar 4 with its rear seat up (22.2 vs. 18.6 cubic feet).

To shield the driver and front passenger’s vision over a larger portion of the windshield and side windows, the Charger has standard extendable sun visors. The Polestar 4 doesn’t offer extendable visors.

The Charger’s power mirror controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Polestar 4’s power mirror controls are embedded in the infotainment system, seriously distracting drivers who have to adjust them while driving.

Compared to the Polestar 4, the Dodge Charger eliminates the need for separate garage door openers and associated risks of losing, breaking, or having dead batteries with its optional integrated Homelink® universal remote controlled from the driver’s visor.

The Charger is equipped with both FM and AM stereo radios, offering access to more content and better coverage than the Polestar 4, which solely provides FM radio. With AM radio, you can enjoy a wider variety of stations featuring news, talk shows, sports commentary, native language programing, automated traffic guidance, and emergency broadcasts. AM waves travel further and penetrate buildings and obstacles more effectively than FM signals, especially at night. Having both FM and AM stereo radios the Charger offers a more comprehensive listening experience compared to only FM in the Polestar 4.

HD Radio boasts several benefits over conventional radio: superior sound quality with clearer and consistent FM broadcasts, CD-quality audio, and Multicast Channels offering up to four streams from a single station, adding programming choices. Cars like the Charger optionally equipped with HD Radio provide an improved in-car entertainment experience. The Polestar 4, devoid of this technology, foregoes these benefits. Selecting the Dodge Charger empowers drivers to enjoy a more immersive and enjoyable listening experience while on the go.

The Dodge Charger comes in coupe and four door hatchback bodystyles; the Polestar 4 isn’t available as a coupe or four door.
